Weekly: Every Sunday morning, Junior High Bible study is at 9:20 am. On Wednesdays during the school year, 1st and 2nd year Confirmation students (typically 7th and 8th graders) meet from 7:00 to 8:15 pm to learn more about the Lutheran faith and prepare for communion. Monthly: Junior High School Youth (ages 6th through 8th grade) meet twice per month, on the 2nd and 4th Mondays, beginning at 6 pm, for fellowship and fun. Summer Activities: A highlight of their year are the weekly summer day trips called Tuesdays Terrific Trips (T3's). Each Tuesday in June, July, and part of August, they take day trips to local amusement parks, museums, local festivals, nearby towns, and many of the parks in Colorado. Other events: Lock-ins and Confirmation retreats, fundraisng with the Senior High Youth, servant events, and the yearly Youth Quake, sponsored by Youth Encounter. Other servant activites: Many of our Junior High Youth are also involved in RSVP (Risen Savior Volunteer Puppeteers), volunteer for Vacation Bible School (VBS) and acolyte on Sunday mornings. Planning: Youth activities are planned by the Board of Youth which consists of both parents and youth, overseen by the Director of Family Life, Kevin Hischke. For more information about Youth Activities, contact Kevin or the Chairman of the Board of Youth, Craig Conley, through the church office at 303-469-3521.
