Are you interested in meeting other people at Risen Savior?  Try participating in one of these various types of Group activities:

Adults:

  • For those who enjoy sports, try Men's Basketball, Men's Softball, Co-ed Softball, and/or Bowling.
  • A wonderful small group ministry, called ChristCare, provides the opportunity for people meet with approximately 8 or 10 other people on an on-going basis for Bible study, fellowship, and/or service.
  • "Dinner for 8" puts groups of 8 adults together to enjoy meals and fellowship once a month for approximately 4 months.
  • The senior adult group - the "Young at Heart" - meets monthly for potluck luncheons with guest speakers, tours, or other events. 

Families:

  • Join the group that meets once a month for Family Game Night where they play everything from volleyball to board games.
  • A couple of times during the summer, go on camping weekends and enjoy Colorado's many beautiful parks with other Risen Savior families!
  • Families with young children may enjoy Playgroup which meets twice a month on Wednesday mornings.
  • Take you family to "Swim and Gym" in January and start the year off with recreation and a fellowship meal.

Women:

  • Nuture your need for casual "girl time" as well as Christian fellowship be attending events such as Weekend Retreats, Movie Nights, and Scrapbooking Days .
  • Celebrate the bond of family in May with our annual Mother-Daughter tea.
  • Participate in Risen Savior's Lutheran Women in Mission Group which focuses on mission projects, both local and overseas.
  • On Tuesday evenings and Thursday mornings study God's Word with groups geared just for women. 
  • New for December of 2009:  Prepare yourself for Christmas with a Christmas Brunch featuring a guest speaker.

Men:

  • Assist single parents, widows, and widowers with our new Cornerstone Ministry which coordinates groups of 4 men who meet 1 Saturday morning each month throughout the year.
  • Sunday mornings and Wednesday mornings, you may participate in Bible study groups with topics of interest mainly for men.
