Activity Highlights
Middle School Youth are welcomed to events once they have completed the 5th grade in school.
Weekly: Sundays – 9:20 am – Bible study
Twice Monthly: 2nd and 4th Mondays – 6 – 8 pm – fellowship, fun, and pizza! Bring $3 to cover the cost.
Confirmation: Wednesdays during the school year – 7:00 to 8:15 pm – Confirmation students (usually grades 7 & 8 ) learn more about the Lutheran faith.
Summer Activities: Weekly summer day trips – Tuesdays Terrific Trips (T3's) – amusement parks, museums, local festivals, nearby towns, and many of the parks in Colorado – A great place where youth build and grow friendships. 2012 Forms are now available!
Other events: Lock-ins and Confirmation retreats, fundraising with the Senior High Youth, servant events, and the yearly Youth Quake.
Servant activities: RSVP (Risen Savior Volunteer Puppeteers), handbell choirs, Vacation Bible School (VBS), and acolyte. Service to others helps build maturity.
Planning: Both parents and youth, overseen by the Board of Youth and the Director of Family Life, Kevin Hischke. For more information about Youth Activities, contact Kevin or the Chairman of the Board of Youth, through the church office at 303-469-3521.
Attendance at any event requires a Annual Event Form on file with the Board of Youth.
Also needed is an Annual Medical Form.
Parents, to drive for an event, the Driver of Private Vehicle form must be completed.
